New Phone Setup (Out of the Box Experience)
2. You should be presented with this screen early on in the setup process. Choose Vodafone / Vodafone Contract etc.
3. Press “End User Licence Agreement” and press next. You do not need to agree to Diagnostic and Marketing information.
4. If/when prompted connect to Wi-fi if at all possible. Press “Settings” to list networks near you. Otherwise, click “Continue”.
5. Checking for updates. The phone will update the enrolment software that it will use for the rest of the process.
6. The Set up Your Device screen will appear. Press “Accept & Continue”
7. Setting up work device – this could take a few minutes.
8. You will reach the Samsung Knox Manage login page. Log in with your QCHA e-mail address (@qcha.org.uk) and usual password. If the device is a shared device, Contact ICT for more information on how to proceed.
9. Post login, you will see a number of screens. When prompted, select “I have read……..” and press Activate.
10. You will be prompted to configure a passcode.
12. Enter a PIN of at least 4 digits. Please do not use “3003”!!!!
13. You should see a screen like this (with your name) when complete. Once done, press the “Home“ button on your device (or the centre circle at the bottom of the screen if your device doesn’t have a physical home button) to go to the home screen of the handset.
14. Swipe down in the middle of the home screen. All of your apps will appear here. A number of apps will be automatically installed from the server including (but not restricted to):

Microsoft Outlook – For your work e-mail. Login with your e-mail address and current password

Microsoft Teams – For Audio / Video / Group chats and file sharing. Login with your e-mail address and current password

Zoom – For any meetings you need to attend using Zoom where mobile is your preferred (or only) platform. No login required.

Adobe Acrobat Reader – For reading PDFs.

Companion – The new SafeShores app, if it applies to you. Please contact Business Support to ask about your user PIN code.

Interact – Access to Source. The URL has been pre-configured, you just need your current username and password (e.g. KHearton)

Horizon Smartphone – If you have a licence for Horizon Collaborate, the app will be deployed and installed for you by our software platform. Your login details will have been sent to you in a previous e-mail, please log a call with ICT on the helpdesk if you require a password reset.
