Adding / Removing Appointments in a Shared Calendar - Mobile Adding Appointments Open Outlook on your mobile and go the "Calender" Screen. Tap the + button and select "New event" By default, Outlook will default to your own calendar. Change the calendar by tapping the dropdown (beneath "New Event") and select the calendar you want to use. The title bar should change colour to reflect the selected calendar: Enter the Title Select the time / date for your appointment. Tap the date / time area to edit: You are presented with two options to select a date time. You can choose the date by scrolling horizontally along the top and dragging the handles on the view to change the time. Alternatively, you can use a more traditional text based entry system.Tap the icon marked below choose your date and time: When complete, tap the Tick icon to confirm the selected date / time Enter the location. Tap the field to add a location, then tap the tick to confirm: Enter the appointment description Check all details and then tap the tick to confirm You should see your appointment on the calendar: Done! Amending / Deleting Appointments Find the appointment you wish to amend. Tap the entry to open it. The appointment details screen shows. Tap the pencil to edit. If you intend to adjust the appointment, make your changes and tap the tick button up the top right. If you want to Delete the appointment, proceed to the bottom of the page: Done Changing your Calendar View As more appointments are added (potentially large numbers that have similar start and finish times), it may be beneficial to switch your calendar view to "Agenda" view. Tap the marked button: Tap "Agenda" Agenda view will show a rolling list of appointments from your selected calendars (Each calendar has a different colour to help you distinguish Appointments) Done!
