How to Scan a document (Ricoh Managed Printers)
Log in to the printer either by tapping your print card against the reader or typing your username and password manually in the usual PC logon format of first initial, Surname (e.g. khearton, letter case doesn't matter)
Press "Scan"
You will see a number of profiles depending on the permissions that have been set by your administrator, but everyone will have a minimum of "Scan to Home Drive" and "Scan to My Email". Tap one of the available options to continue.
The page you receive will be similar regardless of whether you specify Home or E-mail as your scan target. Check the settings on the right and tap "Settings" if you need to change anything (e.g. Duplex)
The Settings page options are as follows. Select as appropriate. Once ready, tap "Start Scanning"
The printer will scan to your selected destination.
If you selected "Scan to Home Drive", your documents will be scanned to H:\Scans
If you selected "Scan to My Email", your documents will arrive via e-mail from "printmonster@qcha.org.uk". If you don't see your message and the scan was marked as successful, please check your junk e-mail folder.
