Booking a Teams Room
- Open or Create a new meeting in either Teams or Outlook.
- If you are using Outlook, make sure you click on the “Teams Meeting” button.
- Under Location, invite one of the Teams Equipped rooms, either
- Thistle
- Burnbank
- Ellesmere
Fill out the rest of the meeting as you normally would and send it.
Using a Teams Room
When you enter the room, you’ll see the touchscreen Teams Device on the table, and it will be displaying the room’s calendar for that day. Just click the join button to join or start the meeting.
The devices are linked to the TV and the TV will automatically come on, audio is controlled on the speaker/mic pod
The Plus and Minus buttons control the volume, the mic button mutes/unmutes the microphone. The device will light up Red when muted.
Sharing Your Screen
If you have a presentation or video that you'd like to share during your meeting, the system caters for that as well.
There is a cable connected to the touch panel with and HDMI/USB C connector on the end of it. Just plug that into your laptop and press the "Present" button. This will pass your vidoe through to the TV and the meeting.
