Conference Calling (Mobile)
This guide covers how to set up conference calling from your work mobile phone.
Assumptions:
You are the person who will be "controlling" the call
Pre-Requisites:
- Mobile Phone
- The contact phone numbers you need to conference together (either have the full phone number or for convenience have these added as contacts BEFORE the call)
Instructions:
- Open the default Dialler app on your mobile phone.
- Dial the first party member by number or contact as you would usually and wait until they have answered the call.
- Press the "Add Call" button. The first party will be temporarily placed on hold and should be advised as such.
- Call the second party member by number or existing contact and wait until they have answered the call.
- At this point, your first party member will still be on hold. Press the "Merge" button on screen to merge the calls into a conference call.
- That's it! To end the call, hang up as you would normally.
