How to collect Horizon App Diagnostics
Overview
There will be times where ICT require diagnostic information from the Horizon app as evidence to support a case we would need to make to Gamma, the service operator.
This guide shows you how you can retrieve this information; this is an activity that should be completed as close as possible to the time of the failure you wish to report!!!!!
Steps
- With the Horizon app open, following the fault you have just experience, tap the ellipsis button located at the bottom right of your screen.
- Tap "Submit Error Report"
- Tap "Download Error Report"
- Tap "Outlook" at the bottom to share via Outlook (i.e. send an e-mail). Tap the more icon if you need to find/add Outlook to your quick share list.
- Outlook should start with a new e-mail message and automatically attach the logs and some diagnostic information. E-MAIL THIS TO YOURSELF FIRST.
- Create a ticket on the helpdesk if you haven't already done so describing the nature of the problem, what you were doing etc. Add the pertinent details (e-mail body and attachment) to that ticket either via the portal or by replying to a ticket reply e-mail for that ticket.
